Most Delaware tap water meets federal standards. Hard water and chlorine taste are nuisances, not hazards — we'll tell you when a problem is cosmetic versus a real health concern.
A number we didn't measure
Utility reports are system-wide averages, not a reading from your tap. We won't quote you a hardness or contaminant level for your home until we've actually tested your water.
That everyone needs every system
Plenty of homes need a softener but not reverse osmosis, or a filter but not a softener. If your results don't call for a system, we'll say so.

How do I find out what water utility serves my address?
Pick your town in the lookup above and we'll name the supplier and the source it draws from. For an exact reading at your own tap, the only reliable answer is a test — which we do for free.
Is a free water test really free?
Yes. A licensed technician tests your water at your home at no cost and with no obligation. If your results don't justify a system, we'll tell you.
Can I just use my utility's water quality report?
It's a useful starting point, but it reports averages across the whole system and stops at the street. Lead service lines, your home's plumbing and a private well all change what actually reaches your faucet.
What if my town isn't listed yet?
We add towns as we verify each utility's real data rather than guessing. Call us and we'll share what we know about your area and get you on the list.
